Beware the Devil Woman

In this vested place,
I spill my pleasure
With the heavy force of love
And the conversations of touching.

She sits on a chair;
I stand at the window
Looking at small speeding clouds
As the light declines.

Suspend this moment please
Before she is drawn away
Because it will not last;
She will break my heart.

Beware the devil woman,;
Right now she don't care
Sparks on her fingertips are subsiding
Leaving me dull;pale as a maggot;at odds with God.

On a moonlit night,
Devil woman cast a spell on me.
I thought it was love;
It was only heat.

There will be a change of dreams
Driving me down to my knees
To the Lord
To tell my troubles to
To save my mortal soul.
